Since January 2020, Jordan Gottheim has applied his array of experience, particularly in the area of wage and hour law, fighting for the rights of Michael Faillace & Associates’ employee clients in their efforts to vindicate their rights under the wage and hour laws.
Prior to joining Michael Faillace & Associates, Jordan practiced in several law firms, gaining experience in labor and employment law, as well several other areas of the law, such as insurance defense, contractual disputes, contested guardianships, landlord/tenant matters, and a variety of transactional matters. Jordan has served as a research assistant to the faculty head of the clinical education department of Fordham University School of Law, researching and counseling with respect to then-cutting edge issues pertaining the to the student trainee exception to the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act. He has also served as a legal intern at LexisNexis, adapting the content of the Labor and Employment law module of Lexis Practice Advisor, a practice tools used by practicing attorneys in respective areas of the law.
Jordan earned a B.S. in Computer Science from Touro College and a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in federal and state courts in New York and New Jersey.
